What a great Stars and Stripes Celebration in Clifton Forge last weekend! 🇺🇸
It was wonderful to see so many people come out, celebrate together, and enjoy everything that makes Clifton Forge such a special community.
We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported Clifton Forge Main Street and helped make the Stars and Stripes Celebration possible. Events like this take a lot of community support, and every contribution helps us bring people downtown, support local businesses, and create special moments for families and visitors to enjoy.

Have the Clifton Forge fireworks been coordinated with the railroad this year so no railroad cars will affect the fireworks?
Are fireworks tonight at 6:00? And also tomorrow night 9:30?
I would say the music starts at six, and the fireworks when it gets dark.
And so much fun.

The Town of Clifton Forge is seeking proposals from individuals, businesses, nonprofits, developers, and other interested entities for the acquisition and redevelopment of 600 Main Street, a prominent gateway property in Downtown Clifton Forge. The Town is looking for creative, financially viable projects that support economic development, create a community-facing destination, and activate both the building and surrounding site through uses such as retail, food service, arts, tourism, workforce development, community space, or other innovative concepts. The selected purchaser will enter into a redevelopment agreement requiring the project to begin within six months of property transfer and be fully operational within twelve months. Proposals must include a project narrative, business plan, implementation schedule, and evidence of financial capacity. Preference will be given to projects that generate community benefit, encourage public engagement, strengthen downtown vitality, and demonstrate long-term sustainability.

The Stars and Stripes Celebration kicks off Friday at 6 PM with music, food, games, and of COURSE fireworks! Bring the family downtown and enjoy a fun evening celebrating with the community.
Then on Saturday, the parade starts at 11 AM, and it is one you are not going to want to miss!
After the parade, we invite everyone to join us at the Masonic Theatre for a special ceremony honoring and celebrating our local veterans.

Calling young people ages 12 and older! We will be handing out art supplies to kids along the parade route during the Clifton Forge 4th of July Parade. We are looking for 5 to 6 student volunteers who are willing to walk behind our truck and hand out bags of art supplies.
